About Us

Leisurewood Homes is a family run business that was set up in the UK in 1994 and was temporarily relocated to Southern Portugal in 2002. For many years prior to 1994 we had manufactured our own unique range of garden furniture and architectural gardenware from our factories in Northampton and North Wales, however the phenomenal growth of interest in garden design brought about by popular TV programs made it impossible to keep up with the demand for products coming in from countries far and wide.  We therefore decided to concentrate our energies on the supply only market and ceased manufacturing in 2005. Our showroom and warehouse in Portugal was closed in 2006 and our new showroom opened in the UK. In March 2008 we moved into a new larger warehouse and showroom in North Wales and expanded our range to include quality household and garden furniture. 

All the products you see on our website are quality products that are sourced from the UK and many other countries around the globe. Selling principally timber products from countries like, Sweden, Finland, India, Malaysia, Phillipines and the UK, we pride ourselves on delivering only the very best products that are available in our chosen market place, at prices that are realistic and affordable. From Garden Furniture & Wooden Buildings, quality Bedroom and Lounge furniture as well as Leather suites and occassional Furniture etc, we strive to purchase all of our products from reliable manufacturers who use only the finest timber from properly managed forests. Because we care very passionately about the delicate balance of the worlds natural resources we do not knowingly use any endangered species of timber in our product ranges. We also take care not to purchase any products from manufacturers who are known to employ child labour or who exploit the employees who work for them. As a result, all our timber products come from companies who can show they promote an active forest management and replanting program and whose products carry the FSC timber certificate.
